City Dumpster Policies

A couple simple rules tend to make life easier.  Kramer City Code sets fines for violations at the City Dumpsters and City Burn Pit.

  1. NO AGRICULUTURAL/YARD WASTE to include grass clippings, corn husks, and similar waste.
  2. Break your boxes down flat.  This makes more space for other people to use.
  3. No household appliances permitted (washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, freezer, water heater, furnace, microwave, or dishwasher).
  4. No parts from any vehicle, tractor, farm equipment.
  5. Metal, drywall, concrete, bricks, dirt, or rocks are not acceptable.
  6. No paint, batteries, tires, oils, chemicals, combustible material, or any items identified as hazardous.
  7. Game (Geese, ducks, deer, etc.) must be in sealed plastic bags.  Hunters should dress game in the field.  Game refuse must be placed in the 8-yard dumpster south of the Kramer Post Office adjacent to the Mouse River Outfitters, NOT in the resident 8-yard dumpster.
